Computer laboratory

The main objective of the Computer Laboratory is to make available a departmental computing facility where students can work on class reports and projects while having full Internet capabilities. The room layout was specifically chosen to allow for collaborative work on group projects as well as teaching activities and is equipped with modern workstations, flatbed scanners, laser printers and many standard software offerings for word processing, worksheet processing, presentations design, and internet browsing.

The Laboratory further equipped with specialised software to accomodate a series of undergaduate and graduate courses, including Mathematics, Statistics, G.I.S., Introduction to computer science & programming, Satellite oceanography, and many others.
