    Research

My research experience is focused in the fields of physical oceanography, hydrodynamic circulation modelling, coastal dynamics modelling (coastal zone erosion), ocean interaction with tropical storms, storm surge modelling and oil spill fate in the marine environment. Furthermore, I have experience in in-situ measurements of physical oceanography by participating in several missions at different coastal and open-sea regions

    Teaching

My teaching duties in the Department of Marine Sciences of the University of the Aegean include the following courses: Descriptive Physical Oceanography and Oceanography of Mediterranean. My duties in the Department of Civil Engineering of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki include the course of Coastal Oceanography.
