Research

As a bioacoustician, I collect, analyze and interpreter sounds, mainly from the ocean, to explore different ecological questions. My investigations include mainly the understanding of marine mammal ecology and its relationship with environmental shifts. Ultimately, my research efforts are based on assessing potential impacts of anthropogenic activities on marine mammals, using acoustics as a tool. Noise pollution and climate change consequences to marine ecosystems dominate my scientific pursuits.

Other activities

Director of Pint of Science Greece.
