The image gallery is from the European research project FADIO (Fish Aggregating Devices as Instrumented Observatories of pelagic ecosystems). Scientists from the Fisheries & Underwater Acoustics Lab of our Department collaborated with teams from eight different countries to develop new observation methodologies, sonar processing software, and autonomous instrumented buoys for gathering in situ data of large pelagics' aggregative dynamics.
